High-Tech Medical Care. Organ donation and transplantation

The FSRCC FMBA of Russia annually receives more than 1,000 quotas for providing high-tech medical care. High-tech medical care on the basis of the FSRCC is provided in the following areas: abdominal surgery, obstetrics-gynecology, neurosurgery, otorhinolaryngology, oncology, traumatology and orthopedics, transplantation.

The Center is actively developing the organ donation and transplantation in the Krasnoyarsk Region. The transplantation team of the FSRCC carries out the identification of potential donors, explantation, transportation of human donor organs and tissues, transplantation coordination and transplantation. Since 2016, the FSRCC specialists have successfully performed kidney and liver transplants. The specialists also cooperate with cardiac surgeons of the Federal Center for Cardiovascular Surgery of Krasnoyarsk and the Regional Clinical Hospital in heart transplantation.
